Dua Lipa was born 22nd august 1995, in London, the United Kingdom. After a stint as a model and actress she signed with Warner Bros Records. She released her debut self-titled album in the year 2017. The album peaked at No. 3 on the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles that were released, including Be the First I.D.G.A.F., and New Rules. In the United States it peaked as number 6. Lipa's album, which is now been recognized as Platinum in several countries across the world has won two Brit Awards (in the year 2018) for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough artist. Dua Lipa was conceived in London in the UK by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). Dua Lipa is Bosnian heritage by the maternal grandparents of her.
